It feels weird..

It feels weird when you see or meet individuals with a certain untapped potential, and you try to help them reach it. Only to be met with such defiance that makes you question why they would react in such a way, what steps were made difficult for them to reach? Why is it that they feel like the world, the system or an unknown force is against them? Is it perhaps that they were never raised in a supportive household? The reasons keep amounting up to new and new heights, that a thorough discussion is really not what I want to write here, but I do hope that anyone who reads this at least is motivated to talk about it with their loved ones or with perhaps a peer.
